HANOI KITCHEN is a well established Vietnamese Street food brand and this will be our 6th festival season. We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to work with the Owner for 1-2 days a week on planning, executing (on paper) and evaluating the upcoming festival season by managing our Festival sheet. This job can be done from home and can also be combined with our Festival crew job if that's something that interests you!
THE JOB?
Working together with the owner in person or on Zoom on getting all the aspects of Festival management ready for the season
Logistics, supplier orders, rotas, people management, budget, P&L
Staying on top of the Festival Excel sheet, making sure all numbers and details are there
Chasing the owner on missing information for the sheet- invoices, staff hours, other costs, takings etc
Calculating costs and gross profit margins
Making calls to suppliers and event organisers when and if needed
Work from May to start of September, potential future opportunities for the right candidate

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Someone with demonstrated experience in project or events management
Someone with demonstrated experience in budget planning
Proactive self-starter that can work independently
Problem solver with attention to detail
Great with Excel sheets, numbers, formulas and formatting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiastic and positive- 'can do' attitude
Able to commute to East London (Leyton, Walthamstow or Hackney) when necessary
